The "Coding + Electricity + Legos = STEM Cart to Go!" project allows my students direct access to materials at school in which they can learn how circuits work, create sustainable energy in their own environments, and utilize technology many don't have access to at their own homes. Students will learn how to manipulate electronic devices to create robots and learn how to utilize electricity circuits with the Snap Circuit boards as well as Lego sheets. Students will also use the coding items with current materials we already have at school to manipulate items such as fans, lights, etc. We will be able to teach life skills with this program! Each item purchased will be placed on a cart for teachers to easily maneuver from classroom to classroom providing STEM time each week for students.These items will generate excitement for my students as they are eager to learn how things work. It is my hope that students learn so much about electricity, science, & technology that they want to go into a STEM career!
