These materials will be used in a two fold way. First, remote learning has more challenges than expected. The monitor will allow me to teach my students and have up the lesson while being able to see their faces for engagement and questions. Without a second monitor, I lose the ability to see my students while I present my lesson. The bluetooth airbuds will allow me to hear my students questions and participation without the interference of exterior noise, while allowing for movement to a white board if needed as well. Second, the turntable and speakers will help me to create an environment where students can experience music throughout the school day. The musical connections will be cultural, historical, and to support social emotional learning. Creating a learning environment immersed in the arts, whether remotely or in our brick and mortar school, is my ultimate goal for my students. Supporting this project will allow me to do just that.
