Each year when school is in session, our students have art three times per week and have the opportunity to create projects after listening to a book read to them. We build on these projects with a variety of materials including paper, paint, pencils, scissors, glue etc. which allow our students an opportunity for creative expression, language acquisition and fine motor development, all areas of need for our students with autism. During remote learning, our students do not necessarily have the materials they need in order to properly participate in their remote art class and complete art projects in their home. If you help fund this project, this student will have a rich learning experience and enjoy many exciting art projects while learning at home.
