The students became interested in solving the Rubik's cube last year before we went out for virtual learning. Several students still came to virtual science club to try and learn, but many did not have access to the cubes needed for practice. I would like to be able to deliver cubes to students so that they can attend virtual science club with me and have interactions and challenges with each other while we learn together. The perseverance and spatial reasoning skills that come with learning to solve the cube will help students grow in all areas. Science club will also provide a social outlet and a sense of normalcy that is needed in these times.

About my class
