These material will allow my students to learn how to prepare meals for themselves that can be created independently. They will allow my students to explore foods that can be added to their food pallets and expand their outside of what they will normally eat. Learning to eat and drink can be a challenge for many children who have multiple disabilities including a visual impairment. The way your child responds to food can be affected by factors such as his medical conditions, physical abilities, or resistance to trying new foods because of the texture or taste. Allowing children to explore different foods is a great way to encourage them to eat and try.
