The Scholastic Storyworks will be used to promote group read alouds where ALL students can benefit from integrating reading together while teaching collaboration and critical thinking skills. This engaging material will ignite students love for reading, sharing, and working together! Reading should not be presented to students as a chore or another task; instead it should be offered as a gift. When students know their contributions and voices are heard, they feel valued and therefore are more motivated. This material will be used to further enhance students' reading and vocabulary skills through a nurturing environment where all learners can ask questions and share ideas.
