The past year and a half has been very hard on my students since most of them have not been able to physically attend school. Access to our school library will be limited due to continued safety precautions. A classroom library will give my students plenty of book choices and will be readily available during our independent reading time. Many of my students are reading far below grade level and will need constant practice to develop crucial literacy skills -- the resources provided by this project will encourage them to independently select and maintain our classroom library. The added durability provided by the tools in this project will give my students the chance to read both in class and at home.
