Reading is one of the biggest struggles for students all around the United States. In the midst of COVID-19 we are seeing these struggle even more. To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I would use these decodable books to help them learn phonics skills that will help them developmentally and help them gain an understanding of reading and writing skills. These skills are important for elementary students to grow as readers and to help them with comprehension as they continue on in their schooling. My goal is to help my students become proficient readers who are confident in their reading.

About my class
