My students have a wide variety of learning needs. Using technology allows them to work at their own level and achieve success at their own pace. Students get excited to learn when they are able to use technology. My classroom was fortunate to become one on one with Chromebooks this year. This allows us to explore lessons on Google Classroom, I Station, MobyMax, and listen to books on MYON. They get so excited when they have mastered a new concept! Many of these programs engage the students through the use of sound and video lessons. Since each student is working at their own level and/or on something of their own interest, the volume of the lessons often disturbs and distracts those around them. Having headphones for each one of my students would provide an opportunity for them to focus on their learning and be more productive with their time.
