My kindergarten students are finally ready to start using our classroom iPads to further their learning! The students will primarily be using these iPads in small group rotations during our daily math and ELA/reading lessons. I will be providing them access to several learning games in these areas as well as some apps and sites that allow me to track their progress which will help me create more individualized instruction for each student or small group. Unfortunately, our classroom iPads do not have protective cases/screen protectors on them, we have a bulky charging system, and some students do not have headphones. This project will allow me to fix all of those problems as well as have extra headphones or charging cords in the event of damage or a new student arriving mid-year. Kids of all ages love technology and all of the wonderful devices anymore, why not make them part of their learning when we can?! My students are so excited to start using these and I know they will learn significantly through the games and applications I carefully choose to download on the iPads. Let's keep these devices safe and ready to use for this year and many years to come!
