Materials will be used to add to our sensory building environment, by creating sensory spaces for students to use during challenging emotional times,Reading and writing circles, Social Emotional Learning, and student learning intervention, and parent support centers. As a teacher,I am a 'change agent who uses a think outside the box approach to learning. Being able to provide learning in this culturally relevant and stimulating classroom will not only foster cohesion among my scholars, but it will strengthen the bond between their parents and our school. We would collaboratively work to continue reducing the gap that exists between the school, home and community.
