With continued distance learning into the Fall 2020 and beyond, I would like to have robots available for student sign out so they can interact with physical computing and not just programming software. They will work with temperature sensors, binary outputs, line sensors, proximity sensors, accelerometer, and custom sound effects by programming the hertz of an audio frequency. It is important for students to interact with computing in their physical world as most of our industry relies on robotics for product development, automating production, and telehealth. Through students programming, they will create applications that create algebraic linear functions. Hands-on learning equals engagement.
