These materials will give my students, who range from ages 5-15, the tools they need to process the world around them as it stands. The pandemic has left many of my students, the majority of whom already have extensive needs, questioning the world around them and whether or not things will be okay. The supplies requested will give me the opportunity to start equipping my students with the tools they need to make sense of the world around them, and allow me to continue this work when we are able to transition back into schools. Items range from culturally diverse books for kindergarteners, to board games and mindfulness activities for older students that help them articulate how they're feeling and what they're experiencing.

About my class
