Books of high interest will keep students engaged in reading and keep them coming back for more. Going to the library should be exciting for the students and allow them to find their next great adventure. I love when a student's face lights up when they have found the next book in a series to read or they make a new discovery in a different genre. I have asked students for book recommendations and these titles are many they have requested in the genres they want to read. I would like to continue building our library with high interest books, especially for our middle grades.
