Your generosity has already made a noticeable difference for students across our campus.\r\n\r\nAs soon as the materials arrived, students were immediately drawn to them—especially the sensory tools and timers. One student who often struggles with transitions picked up a new visual timer and said, \"This helps my brain calm down.\" Moments like that are happening daily in classrooms and small-group sessions.\r\n\r\nTeachers are using the emotional regulation posters to guide students in identifying their feelings and choosing coping strategies, and the sensory tools have made our calm-down areas more effective and inviting. Students are beginning to use these supports independently, which is a huge step toward stronger self-regulation.\r\n\r\nOur next steps include integrating the materials into morning meetings, expanding calm-down spaces, and using the workbooks during coaching sessions to help students set personal regulation goals.\r\n\r\nYour support helped create safer, more supportive learning spaces for every student. Students look forward to Fridays when the Depot Store opens, and the snacks have become a fun, motivating reward for positive choices and consistent effort. For many, it's not just about the food—it's the pride of knowing they earned it through their actions. Teachers have noticed that students are more intentional about meeting expectations, encouraging one another to stay on track so they can \"shop the snacks.\"\r\n\r\nA favorite moment came when a group of 8th graders helped restock the snack shelves—they took ownership of the display, proudly sharing what items \"sell out fastest.\" Even our younger students peek in with wide eyes, saying they can't wait to be middle schoolers so they can shop for snacks too!\r\n\r\nThe Depot Store snacks have turned into more than a treat—they're a symbol of responsibility, trust, and the excitement of growing up within our Iron Horse community.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us keep our students motivated, connected, and proud of their positive choices!","fullyFundedDate":1754425088739,"projectUrl":"project/pbis-fuel-snacks-that-drive-student-gro/9529152/","projectTitle":"PBIS Fuel: Snacks That Drive Student Growth and Positive Choices","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Morrison","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7065830_orig.jpg?crop=805,805,x1208,y518&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1578896295192","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7065830"},{"teacherId":7065830,"projectId":9526823,"letterContent":"Thanks to your support, our Depot Store and Depot Dash program has become a key part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) system at Esmond Station. One memorable moment came when a student who had struggled early in the year earned enough points to shop independently for the first time—he even chose to use some of his points to get something for a friend. That moment truly captured the heart of our ACT values in action.\r\n\r\nAs we move into the next quarter, students are connecting their daily actions with the rewards they earn and recognizing how positive behavior builds positive outcomes.
