Books are the center of any classroom and allow you to explore a whole world with the turn of a page. I want to provide my students with literature that reflects who they are to foster a love of reading that will follow them throughout their lives. With the abundance of diverse literature available to us now, my students would appreciate seeing more of it in our classroom. Students will be able to read these books during small group guided reading and whole class read alouds, which they LOVE. The right book has the potential to jumpstart a child's love of reading.
