"Wow! Feathered hair was cool?" "You really wore shoulder pads?""There's no way that's you, Mom! You look so goofy!" Most people can relate to the excitement of flipping through an old annual or yearbook and seeing their younger selves, old friends, or even family members. We love reminiscing about stories of our youth. It is the responsibility of the yearbook class to record, document, and memorialize the school year not only for the students attending that year, but also for the community. These cameras will allow the yearbook students to accurately document the stories of our ENTIRE student body. No longer will they have to use their cell phones (if they even have one) or try and copy images off of social media. They can capture these stories in real time. With these cameras, students will not only have the ability to take great pictures to show how awesome it is to be a Pirate, but they will also gain skills that they have not had previously. These cameras will also provide an opportunity for them to learn skills that could eventually develop into a career. These cameras will allow them to "tell" many a story.
