As a first year teacher, I don't have many supplies and classroom resources to offer my students. These materials would not only mean the world to me, but for my students. Most teachers can agree when I say that that the first year of teaching is not easy. Helping me with these supplies would mean a weight carried off my shoulders. With these materials, I plan on making my classroom assessable to all kinds of learners. Materials that I have included like the lapboards, write and wipe charts and easel sized sticky notes will help with differentiation in my classroom. I have also included base 10 manipulative and math games for math lesson and practice. These supplies are basic materials that I know are not going to be provided to me. Having these materials would mean that they would have a classroom where they can focus on their learning and have an inviting environment in their classroom. I want them to be just as excited as I am about going to school, and learning to succeed in the future!
