If granted these chromebooks, each child will be ensured that during distant learning and then upon return to the classroom, 1-1 access to updated technology to be utilize in a blended learning environment. These devices are crucial in delivering personalized and differentiated instruction to each child. In my classroom, students are assigned whole group lessons and personalized assignments to meet each child's instructional and independent learning level. Many students are sharing a device among their siblings and there have already been reports of broken devices. One of my students has seven siblings living under one roof! Unfortunately, many of these devices could possibly be returned and deemed unusable for the next school year. It will be more important than ever, to have 21st Century Technology, to start the 2020/2021 School Year!
