With our students leaving for spring break and not being able to return due to the pandemic, the remainder of the 2019-20 school year was completed at home. My first graders were sent home with weekly packets of paper to work on, with less than 24 hours notice this is what we were able to put together for them to use as their at home learning tool. Most first graders don't look forward to sitting quietly and doing worksheets. With the hopes that school will be some what back to normal and back in the building I wanted to focus on hands on, fun learning experiences. With the games and materials I have chosen, they will spice up our math and reading centers by creating an opportunity for more hands on and social learning experiences. Through the use of the selected reading, math, and STEM materials I hope that my students will be able to experience everything that they were missing while they were home being social isolated during their last school year, fun hands on learning!
