The light table and accessories that I am requesting will be greatly loved and appreciated by my current kindergarten class and kindergartners for years to come. My kindergartners are 5 and 6 years old. They learn best when they can touch, hold, or manipulate something. I can show them a new sight word, but when they get to spell in with translucent letters on a light table their understanding comes alive! This light table will help my little learners with literacy, math, and writing skills through play. They will be able to model a math equation with "magic" gems, make patterns with light up pegs, or build words with letter tiles all while collaborating with each other. I can't wait to see where their imagination will take them.
