This project will replace the old and leaking clothes washer located in the nurse's office. As more children come to school in soiled clothes the demand on the washing machine has increased and it needs to be replaced. It is difficult for children to learn in their classrooms when they are uncomfortable due to their clothing. The office staff frequently washes clothes for students during the school day as well as using the washer to clean donated clothing for students. Accidents and spills happen often in an elementary school and the washer is used to clean clothes for those students as well.
