Our school will soon get a new floor installed which is very exciting! With the new floor, the need for a comfortable, cozy place for students to meet together during shared reading and read alouds will arise. I like for students to be able to move around the room and sit in comfortable areas to read or work independently on assignments. A large, colorful carpet will serve as a common area for us to meet and also make our classroom look more attractive and inviting. The carpet will be used as a gathering place during mini-lessons and share time. We will begin our day meeting together for our "Morning Meeting" and end our day using this area to reflect on our day before dismissal.

About my class
