After all the learning we do through play, music, and movement, students need a comfortable place to rest. This is the first time many of these four-year old kids have ever been to school. Adequate rest is essential to a child's ability to learn, and our nap mats and sheets have been used for many years and are very worn. I started this project so all of my students will have the opportunity to rest in a comfortable place and prepare for the remainder of our day. These nap mats(I already have funding for sheets) will provide a place for each child to rest in a safe environment every day.

About my class
