Having flexible seating options allows students to relax at a higher level and focus more on learning and using Spanish in different ways. On a daily basis, students develop skits and dialogues with peers representing real-life scenarios and having stools with rolling wheels allows them to feel comfortable and move around easily. Stools take less space than regular chairs and allow us to have more open space for floor work and movement. Also, when I surveyed students asking how we could improve our classroom setting, many said to have rolling and comfortable seating instead of traditional stationary chairs that we have.
