With the abrupt and unexpected end of the school year due to the Corona Virus outbreak, students are at home with limited learning materials. This is especially true for low income students. Scholastic News Magazine is available online and provides a wealth of complimentary materials to engage students. As a teacher, I am struggling to develop distance learning lessons and make this time away from the classroom meaningful and instructive. Accessing engaging digital resources like Scholastic News will be hugely beneficial to my students and allow me to keep them accountable.
