Every morning in our virtual classroom, I do a read-aloud with the children. I have limited books to choose from and therefore sometimes have to pull a read-aloud from Youtube. Many of the students have said they enjoy when I am the one reading it and it allows me to also provide commentary and point out sight words that they are learning. I would love to read more to the kids, with interesting books that I can have in my classroom for a lifetime. As a new teacher, it would be extremely helpful to build my collection of engaging books for the students.
