As of right now, students place their backpacks on the back of their chairs which does not allow for room to walk between desks. The backpacks often slip off the chairs and become a tripping hazard. I do not have space for "backpack parking." With a backpack storage cart, that is made to handle the weight of upper elementary backpacks, we can place them in the hallway once their materials are out. The students love to work in groups and the cart storage would allow for more room to do just that!
