Virtual learning has been difficult for all involved and something that is difficult to adapt to. Although we have PDF versions of the book available, there is nothing quite like holding a physical copy of a book when studying theme and character traits - some students work better when able to have a physical copy of literature. I would like to provide my students with their own personal copies of the novel we study, The Great Gatsby. Not only will the book help them succeed during their second semester of Junior English, but it will be their very own copy to keep forever and possibly re-read. The Great Gatsby is one of the most joyful reads and is filled with life lesson after life lesson. I'd love to be able to gift my students their own book to write notes in and eventually read again, or pass down to someone they feel would enjoy the book. The envelopes are for me to mail them their own copies to their house.
