My two classes use white erase boards, expo markers, and erasers daily in class to practice their math skills. They enjoy sharing and collaborating with their classmates. Using a bold/dark expo marker allows their work to be visible across the classroom for a quick "check in" throughout the lesson. Unfortunately, we waste precious moments not having the materials needed to complete lessons. I believe that my students would benefit from having dry erase boards both in and out of the classroom. During this time of online learning, students are not prepared with the materials needed to keep their academic connection strong. They want to keep learning, even in this time of uncertainties. When we return to school, my desire is for all my students to be able to have their own erasable white board, markers, and eraser to have at home and in the classroom.
