Help me give my students cooking supplies, including a toaster oven and a double burner. They will give my students the tools they need to create anything they want in the classroom. Specifically, we will be cooking meals during lunchtimes using the supplies provided. I will be adding my own pots and pans. Additionally, many of my students do not have regular access to good, healthy food that they can eat. I have a space in my classroom where I cook for my kids almost every day, but only have a microwave and broken hot plate. We are able to still make some good treats for them, including fresh bread! By creating this program, I will be able to help them practice healthy cooking and give them the skills to do it for themselves in their own homes. My hope is that they will be able to share their own family food surprises with me!
