Art students here are rich in intelligence ,motivation and desire to learn the arts but are poor in materials that are needed to create a visual anchor to solidify ideas. The art room is small so I use my ceiling for instructional purposes.We have already secured a timeline , color studies ,and maps to the ceiling(all student generated). The Visual Arts utilize visuals to reinforce visual learners. Many times my students learn best by visualizing the project.It stands to reason that the visual cues provided by the art cards and posters can only enhance the art students experience . Thank you so, much! Every lesson that I teach includes reference to design (principles and elements of-,art history etc.). Visual aids such as cards ,posters, and anchor charts support visual learners exponentially.
