These classroom materials will help build our new special education classroom and meet the sensory needs of all students. Students rely on pictures for communication based on individual needs. Velcro is used daily for materials when working with students who benefit and learn through picture exchange communication. When children have their sensory needs met they are engaged in learning and continue to learn and grow! Students will be able to participate in a comfortable sensory break when needed with the use of the classroom mats and dividers. Students with strong sensory needs benefit from a classroom sensory area.

About my class
