Students will use these calculators to graph systems of linear equations, create algebraic models for linear and non-linear relations, and derive quadratic and exponential functions to represent real world phenomena including predicting rate of transmission of Covid-19. In addition to this, students will apply the scientific calculators to prepare models of motion. Many students do not have the necessary resources at home to set themselves up to engage with rigorous math and scientific problem solving the classroom demands. With your contributions, students will be equipped with scientific graphing calculators so they may become prepared for the rigors of college level math and scientific problem solving.

About my class
