I have a limited amount of space for students to store their supplies. It's easier if they just keep their workbooks and supply boxes/caddies on their desk and takes less time out of instruction (whereas, if I had to pass out the items from a back shelf in the classroom for every subject.)The janitor always complains about having their books on the desk and saying she can't clean the tables because of it. The chair pockets will be used to create more space for students to work at their tables. The room will be more organized and can be cleaned easier. Supplies like crayons will be used to engage students in work activities. A tidy classroom environment will definitely be more conducive for learning and inviting towards parents/staff.
