Lap trays are one of the essential components of flexible seating. Kindergartners will work independently and get their work done. Lap desks will meet the needs of all students by giving students the option to choose the place in which they want to work. This will help students improve their focus and performance because they will be working where they feel comfortable independently and will get their work done as they are able to concentrate. Donating to the project will be helpful to all of the students in the classroom and help them stay at a comfortable spot working on their own. Students can move all around the classroom and find a spot on the floor to work. Some students may feel uncomfortable sitting on desks all day long but with lap desks, they will feel comfortable and have less distractions around them. It will enhance children’s learning and the environment that they are in! Students work each day through reading, writing, math, social studies and other subjects in which lap desks will be valuable for them.
