Having the space for each student to sit during our gathering time is vitally important to each student's education. This is the time we come together as a whole class in front of our SMART board to discuss, learn, and explore. This carpet also helps students to learn boundaries, builds friendships, and strengthens the relationship between the teacher and the class. Having a carpet for students to sit on during our whole group meetings will allow them to feel comfortable to express their feelings and ideas. It will allow them to focus on the lesson and the information they are being given. The carpet will be a significant improvement to our classroom space.

About my class
