I teach a class called Medical Detectives to 8th Graders here at Rosemary Clarke MS. This class teaches students about the human body through the eyes of the medical and forensic career fields. In this particular unit students will observe how virus, bacteria and fungi are spread and how doctors treat them. With this purchase I can have equity and provide access for all students to participate and learn through first-hand, interactive experiences.The students will be able to learn how people become sick and how doctors can treat patients. Students will look at how virus, bacteria and fungi are spread and how specific antibotics may be used to treat specific illnesses.
