Due to the unexpected closure of schools because of Covid-19 and teachers having to rapidly adjust to teaching online, many of our students did not have the opportunity to engage in concrete, hands-on learning experiences in mathematics. This has resulted in learning gaps that must be addressed immediately to prevent our students from falling further behind. The materials purchased through this project will allow our students to engage in meaningful, concrete hands-on learning experiences in mathematics that are aligned to the Nevada Academic Learning Standards and will help our students to develop conceptual understanding and fill in learning gaps.

About my class
