Our classroom needs a relaxing atmosphere in order for our best learning to take place. The cozy light shades will filter the bright fluorescent lights in our classroom, helping children with visual sensory issues as well as those children needing comfort. The soft, subdued lighting will be most soothing and will afford tranquility for all. Calming colors in classrooms improve concentration, reduces tension, and helps to promote positive performance. By placing "sky blue" softening light filter covers over our fluorescent lights, we will enhance the nurturing environment and promote peacefulness. Sensory processing products can help channel appropriate behavioral and academic responses.
