I am always looking for new ways to get to get the students engaged in our learning activities. Because they struggle with their reading, we use interactive material to the greatest extent possible. This allows us to make the font size larger, and easier for the boys to read while sounding out word. The students also like technology that provides mental stimulation. This is why I would love to get a Promethean ActivPanel Titanium 70" - 4K - 4 x Pen, Vesa Mount,. ActivInspire Professional Edition available FOC board in our classroom. Interactive boards facilitate multisensory, hands-on learning and will give my students important experience with the use of technology. The Promethean board is an interactive whiteboard that enhances lessons through presentation through the board that allows teachers and students to manipulate the screen. This tool will be beneficial by creating a more active learning environment for students and increasing student achievement. According to the U.S. Department of Education, "Technology infuses classrooms with digital learning tools, builds 21st century skills; increases student engagement and motivation; help me give my students the power of knowledge at their fingertips with this touchscreen board.
