As a small but growing charter school library, we hope to continue to diversify our classroom sets to provide more options for students and more resources for teachers. Literature lends empathy to our lives and has the power to change the world. I want my students to make empathy and change a part of their lives here at our school. My goal is to bring diversity to our school that challenges our students to think critically and to see the world through a stranger's eyes.
