Second grade is a time of transition. The students are transitioning from "learning to read" to "reading to learn" and enjoy reading independently in a reading corner or in quiet spaces around the classroom. Flexible seating options allow the students to move fluidly to these reading spaces, increasing their time on task and levels of stamina and engagement with the texts. Students are comfortable and motivated, increasing their enjoyment of reading time. The Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats are the perfect fit for our second-grade students. By donating to our Comfy Cozy Reading corner, you will help them grow as readers.
