"Fish in a Tree" is a story that my students relate to and love. They are inspired by the courage the characters show, and are motivated to persevere during their hardships. In trying to help my students stay safe and healthy, I want to provide each student with a copy of their own book. When students have their own copy, they are able to note, highlight, and re-read whenever they desire. Many of my students come from diverse backgrounds. These students do not have many things in their lives, let alone books. I want to use this project to grow their love for reading, and give them something tangible to take away.

About my class
