My students love hands-on materials. They will learn letters, sounds, sight words and word blending while using manipulatives. My students will have so much fun playing with these materials and learning how to read at the same time. For some of my students, this is their first experience in school. With these tools, I can set up my students with resources needed to help them learn how to be successful and ready when leaving kindergarten and going to first grade. With a variety of educational tools, I know I can reach and impact each student at the level they are at.
