I love working with students in small groups. This helps me to be able to group them with like abilities and work on those specific skills that will help them be more successful in both reading and writing. All students come to be with varying levels of knowledge and abilities, and all students learn at different paces. Being able to work with them in smaller groups rather than whole class will help me to focus on their strengths as well as how I can best help their learning. Being able to focus on them in a more individualized setting will not only strengthen the attention I can give them, but also will give them the helpful resources they need to move further in their learning.
