First graders are so full of life and energy, and they love to learn and explore new things. The days of students sitting at desks in neat, quiet rows are in the past. Our students' needs are much greater today, and classrooms need to adapt to meet these needs. My goal is to develop an open learning environment to meet my students' varied physical, developmental, and academic needs. I envision a classroom with a whole group learning space and varied work stations around the room. Students would choose a space where they could best focus on learning in a setting that is most conducive to success.

About my class
