Our library is used as a presentation space for classes, for career talks, for college information sessions and a variety of other meetings. Our current projector is broken and flaky and often times during presentations it just stops projecting. This causes anxiety for the presenter as well as disengagement for the audience. Keeping students engaged in these presentations is often challenging so we have been using various types of technology to make them more interesting. This usually requires the use of the projector for video, slide presentations and games. It has become very difficult without the use of the projector. Although currently we are doing distance learning, I know that when we come back to school in person we will soon remember that our projector was not working and be scrambling to find a solution. This projector will make our re-entrance to school much more seemless.
