For my Donors Choose project I decided to fill the most pressing needs in my classroom at this time. I selected headphones, markers, inflatable solar system, and erasers. Headphones are vital in classroom because of the various computer programs the students use through out their day. I currently have three pairs of working head phones in my room and it is always a battle for the kids to see who gets the working pairs. Markers and erasers are classroom supplies that I am currently running low on and that are used most everyday in my room. They use markers for spelling and reading comprehension daily. We just finished our solar system unit in Science and I did not have solar system model in 3D for the kids to see and I think it would have helped them recognize how they planets move around the sun and each planets orbit.
