My students LOVE to read! They love to read fiction and non fiction books from fairy tales to animal classifications. Early literacy takes place throughout our entire day! We read during writing, math, science, social studies, and during our daily morning meetings. We never stop reading! Having a wide variety of books that can meet all levels of readers would help make my students succeed in reaching their end of the year reading goals. Each child has books that are "good fit" that are on their level and "dessert" books that are easier or more challenging. Growing our classroom library will help make this possible.
